(NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed in a north easterly direction along PRINCIP STREET between its junction with Lower Loveday Street to its junction with Lancaster Street.
The Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic is required to facilitate the construction of apartments.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 18th of August 2025 and will remain in force for a period of SEVENTEEN MONTHS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
