(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

From the east side of Lingfield Way eastwards to Morton Park Way

An alternative route is available via Lingfield Way, Morton Road, Morton Park Way and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow repairs to damaged fencing adjacent to the footpath.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 6 months commencing from 7th August 2025.
