(EDGEMOOR ROAD, HALL GREEN)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 219) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Edgemoor Road, Hall Green from the junction with Stoney Lane for 46 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Edgemoor Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Stoney Lane, Marshall Avenue, Low Moor Crescent, Woodland Close, Edgemoor Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th August 2025 to 25th August 2025, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(HIGH STREET, DENBY DALE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 223) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: High Street, Denby Dale for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of High Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: High Street, Bull Lane, Fairbrook Road, Church Lane, Stoney Lane, Painthorpe Lane, Cliff Road, High Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th August 2025 at 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(DENBY DALE ROAD EAST, DURKAR)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 224) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Denby Dale Road East, Durkar for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Denby Dale Road East.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Denby Dale Road East, Durkar Low Lane, Eastwood Close, Standbridge Lane, Durkar Lane, Denby Dale Road East & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 14th August 2025 at 21.00 hours to 15th August 2025 at 01.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BARNSLEY ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 225) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Barnsley Road, Wakefield for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Barnsley Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barnsley Road, Bridge Street, Wakefield Bridge, Ings Road, Westgate End, Horbury Road, Northfield Lane, Southfield Lane, Quarry Hill, Bridge Road, New Road, Wakefield Road/Grange Moor, Barnsley Road, Bar Lane, Denby Dale Road, Durkar Interchange, Denby Dale Road, Asdale Road, Standbridge Lane, Barnsley Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 14th August 2025 at 21.00 hours to 15th August 2025 at 01.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(DALE STREET, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 226) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Dale Street, Ossett for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Dale Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Dale Street, Wakefield Road, Ossett Bypass, Leeds Road, Kingsway, Dale Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th August 2025 at 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WOOD STREET, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 230) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Wood Street, Ossett for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Wood Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th August 2025 at 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(MOLLY HURST LANE, WOOLLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 232) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new gas connection to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Molly Hurst Lane, Woolley, outside Saxon House. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Molly Hurst Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion. Access for residents and emergency services only.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 14th August 2025 to 20th August 2025 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(MULBERRY WAY, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 234) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to remove blocked paved crossing and replace with tarmac to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Mulberry Way, Wakefield, at the side of the Wakefield Civil Justice Centre. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Mulberry Way.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Westgate, Marygate, Bull Ring, Northgate, Rishworth Street, Bond Terrace, Cliff Parade, Back Lane, Mulberry Way (one way only) & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th August 2025 to 9th August 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(LAKE LOCK DRIVE, STANLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 148) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for the excavation and installation of new drainage pipework to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Lake Lock Drive, Stanley from outside house numbers 8 and 63 to outside house numbers 38 and 85. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Lake Lock Drive.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A. Access only cul de sac. Footway closure outside house numbers 18 to 38, pedestrians to use opposite footway.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 16th June 2025 at 08.00 hours to 22nd August 2025 at 18.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. The closure was originally due to be in force until the 27th July 2025 and was extended until the 8th August 25, however it has become necessary to extend it again until the 22nd August 2025 as above.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(OAKENSHAW LANE, CROFTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 247) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for tree removal adjacent to train line/bridge to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Oakenshaw Lane, Crofton from the entrance to First to number 27 Oakenshaw Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Oakenshaw Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Oakenshaw Lane, School Lane, Shay Lane, Harrison Road, The Avenue, Lodge Lane, Doncaster Road. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th August 2025 from 08.00 hours to 16.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CHURCH STREET, WOOLLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 249) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to lay new internet infrastructure to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Church Street, Woolley outside Stocks Cottage for approximately 213 metres and no access from Middle Field Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Church Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: High Street, New Road, Back Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 26th August 2025 to 28th August 2025 between 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours daily, open at all other times. Pedestrian access maintained and access for residents on the closed section of road will be maintained where possible, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CHESTNUT CRESCENT, NORMANTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 251) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for a new electric connection to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Chestnut Crescent, Normanton for approximately 150 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Chestnut Crescent.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Queen Elizabeth Drive, Sunny Bank, Chestnut Crescent & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 26th August 2025 to 1st September 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(PILDACRE LANE, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 252) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install new monopole to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Pildacre Lane, Ossett for approximately 200 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Pildacre Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: The diversion route crosses into Kirklees area – Pildacre Lane, Pildacre Lane (Kirklees area), Ossett Lane (Kirklees area), Town Street (Kirklees area), High Road (Kirklees area), Wakefield Road (Kirklees area), Chancery Road, Leeds Road, Kingsway, Ventnor Way, Wesley Street, Pildacre Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 27th August 2025 to 29th August 2025 between 08.00 hours and 18.00 hours, road will re open outside of these times, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
