Ditton Street, Listers Hill and Greenway - Temporary Road Closure For Pole Replacement And Overhead Cabling Works

Temporary Closure of Ditton Street, Listers Hill and Greenway
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ditton Street - from the junction with Orchard Vale, southwards incorporating Listers Hill and Greenway to the junction with Cricket Lane. A total distance of 187 metres.
This Order will enable Network Plus and Adam C Taylor Ltd to carry out pole replacement and overhead cabling works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 7th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th August 2025 and last until 20th August 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 17:30 for a total of 10 days.
