TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2025

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ANTINGHAM – U14369 Elderton Lane from its junction with A149 Cromer Road for 80m eastwards to facilitate civils and cabling works between 21:00 and 06:00 from 11th to 16th August 2025 (may continue until 27th September 2025). Alternative route is via: A149 Cromer Road, C290 Southrepps Road, U14369 Elderton Lane. The works promoter is BT.

AYLSHAM – C276 Bure Way from its junction with Stuart Road for 30m westwards to facilitate carriageway subsidence repair works from 11th to 12th August 2025 (may continue until 23rd September 2025). AYLSHAM – C286 Norwich Road from its junction with A140 Aylsham Bypass for 200m northwards to facilitate new mains laying works from 11th to 13th August 2025 (may continue until 24th September 2025). BARTON TURF AND IRSTEAD – U19043 Berry Hall Road from 160m north of its junction with C809 Pennygate Lane for 50m northwards to facilitate fire hydrant cover and frame renewal works from 13th to 19th August 2025 (may continue until 30th September 2025). Alternative route is via: Berry Hall Road, Pennygate Lane. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

BUXTON WITH LAMAS – C245 Mill Street from its junction with Coltishall Road for 520m eastwards to facilitate new duct installation works from 11th to 25th August 2025 (may continue until 6th October 2025). DRAYTON – U57172 School Road from its junction with Brick Farm Lane for 30m northwards to facilitate new water connection works from 11th to 13th August 2025 (may continue until 24th September 2025). Alternative route is via: School Road, Hall Lane, Drayton Lane, Reepham Road (Horsford, Drayton). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

GREAT YARMOUTH – Herring Bridge from its junction with Southtown Road for 400m eastwards to facilitate bridge inspection works between 20:00 and 06:00 from 11th to 13th August 2025 (may continue until 24th September 2025). Alternative route is via: Southgates Road, South Quay, Hall Quay, Haven Bridge, Bridge Road, Southtown Road, William Adams Way, Herring Bridge. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

INGHAM – 1) C410 Calthorpe Road from 25m west of its junction with U19144 Sydney Street for 50m eastwards and 2) U19144 Sydney Street from its junction with C410 Calthorpe Street for 10m northwards to facilitate chamber cover and frame and mains fittings works from 12th to 14th August 2025 (may continue until 25th September 2025). WARHAM – C327 Chapel Street from its junction U14205 Park Road for 50m south westwards to facilitate carriageway repair works from 11th to 22nd August 2025 (may continue until 3rd October 2025). WORSTEAD – U19139 Barnards Road from its junction with U19138 Honing Road for 100m north eastwards to facilitate pole testing works on 15th August 2025 (may continue until 26th September 2025). ATTLEBOROUGH

  1. B1077 Queens Road from 24m south of its junction with 3P264 Queens Close for 74m south eastwards and

  2. B1077 Queens Square from its junction with B1077 Queens Road for 77m north eastwards and

  3. B1077 Church Street from its junction with B1077 Queens Square for 197m eastwards to facilitate new connection works, the Roads 1 and 2 will be temporarily closed and Road 3 shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction between 19:00 on 13th August and 06:00 on 14th August 2025 (may continue until 25th September 2025).

KENNINGHALL – Lopham Road from its junction with Heath Road for 220m northwards to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 13th August 2025 (may continue until 24th September 2025).
