Acre Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Substation Works

Temporary Closure of Acre Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Acre Lane - from the junction with New Hill to the junction with Lodge Hill. A total distance of 336 metres.
This Order will enable Core Highways to carry out substation works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 21st August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th August 2025 and last until 19th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 25 days.
