Thorney - Temporary Closure To Pole Replacement

Temporary Closure of Thorney
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Thorney - from 945 metres north-west of the junction with Coombe Lane, north-westwards for a total distance of 631 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement.
The Order becomes effective on 21st August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th August 2025 and last until 29th August 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 for a total of 7 hours.
