Brassington Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Electricity Cabling for New Sub Station
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BRASSINGTON LANE, BRADBOURNE
WHEN: 11 August to 16 August 2025
WHERE: Brassington Lane, Bradbourne between Sandhurst Farm and The Beeches.
REASON: To facilitate electricity cabling for new Sub Station.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bradbourne Lane, West End, Well Street, Church Street, Miners Hill, Town Street, Ashbourne Road, B5035 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
