Sadler Street - Temporary Closure To Replace A Manhole Cover

Temporary Closure of Sadler Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Sadler Street - from the junction with Chamberlain Street, south-eastwards for a total distance of 31 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a manhole cover.
The Order becomes effective on 21st August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th August 2025 and last until 27th August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
