Ashover Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ASHOVER ROAD, LITTLEMOOR, ASHOVER
WHEN: 25 August to 15 September 2025.
WHERE: Ashover Road, Littlemoor, Ashover from its jct. with Alton Lane for a distance of 100m in a northerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate gas main renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashover Road (from point of closure), A61, B6014, B6036, Stubben Edge Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
