A61 Inner Relief Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A61 INNER RELIEF ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 09 August to 10 August 2025 (04:00 to 16:00 each day).
WHERE: A61 Inner Relief Road, Chesterfield from its jct. with the A619 Rother Way Interchange to its jct. with Whittington Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate highway maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lockoford Lane, Lockoford Road, B6057 to Whittington Interchange and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
