North Wingfield Footpath No. 14 – Temporary Public Footpath Closure
What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.14 (PART)
NORTH WINGFIELD
WHEN: 13 August 2025 to 13 February 2026.
WHERE: Close Footpath No.14 from Meadow View to the junction with Footpath No.13.
REASON: To facilitate health and safety during construction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the south travel northwest along public footpath No.13 to the A6175 (Williamthorpe Road). Go northeast along the A6175 then south on public footpath No.56. Follow public footpath No.56 on to Highfields Way which leads to Meadow View. Vice Versa from the north.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
