What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Bearcroft Gardens, Grangemouth from 08:00 on 11/08/25 until 17:00 on 20/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Bearcroft Gardens, Grangemouth from a point adjacent to number 2 in a northerly direction for approximately 75 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable. Local access to be maintained as far as practically possible.
Main Street, Larbert from 07.30 hours on 11/08/25 until 16.00 hours on 15/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes the Main Street from its junction with Burnhead Road to its junction with Carronvale Road.
2. The alternative route is: A9, A88, B905 and vice versa.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION)
ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily restrict Speed on:
A905 Bowtrees from 19:00 hours on 11/08/25 until 05:00 hours on 12/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Engineer safety to work in an Underground structure
1. No person shall use, or permit the use of, any vehicle on each length of road specified in the Schedule, during the period specified in Article 1, at a speed exceeding 30 mph when a restriction is identified as applying to a part or parts of that length of road by means of prescribed traffic signs to Diagram 670 of the Traffic Signs Regulations 2016.
