What is happening?

The North Yorkshire Council, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 23, Proposed Pedestrian & Cycle Crossings

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to establish a pedestrian & cycle crossing at the following 2 locations:- the junction of Wetherby Road & Slingsby Walk, Harrogate from a point 26 metres north west of the junction with Roslyn Road to a point 51 metres south westof the junction with Roslyn Road, Harrogate; the junction of Oatlands Drive & Slingsby Walk, Harrogate from a point 95 metres north west of the junction with St Winifred’s Road, Harrogate to a point 138 metres north west of the junction with St Winifred’s Road, Harrogate. A map showing the location of the proposed pedestrian & cycle crossings may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 07/08/25 to 29/08/25 & also viewed online at
