Redvers Buller Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
REDVERS BULLER ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 27 August to 29 August 2025 (07:00 to 18:00 each day).
WHERE: Redvers Buller Road, Chesterfield from its jct. with Baden Powell Road to its jct. with Dundonald Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching / resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Baden Powell Road, A61 Derby Road, Trevorrow Crescent and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
