Ar 4 Awst 2025, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), a'r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, orchymyn a fydd yn atal unrhyw berson rhag defnyddio neu fynd ar hyd troedffordd ogleddol Heol y Fferi o bwynt 140 metr o'r gyffordd â Rhodfa Ryngwladol i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain am bellter o 80 metr.

Bydd y llwybr beicio cyfagos yn gweithredu dros dro fel troedffordd/ beicffordd defnydd a rennir.

Mae r Gorchymyn hwn yn ofynnol i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y droedffordd, a disgwylir iddo ddod i rym rhwng dydd Mercher 6 Awst 2025 a dydd Llun 1 Chwefror 2027.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn hwn yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis.

Enw'r Gorchymyn fydd "Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Heol y Fferi, Caerdydd) (Cau Troedffordd Dros Dro) 2025”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (FERRY ROAD, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

On the 4th August 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any person from using or proceeding along Ferry Road northern footway from a point 140 metres from its junction with International Drive in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 80 metres.

The adjacent cycleway will temporarily operate as a shared use footway/cycleway.

This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near the footway and is expected to be in operation from Wednesday 6th August 2025 until Monday 1st February 2027.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. This Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

This Order is known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Ferry Road, Cardiff) (Temporary Footway Closure) Order 2025”.
