What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

A5206 LONDON ROAD, LICHFIELD (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**

Staffordshire County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to impose a 40 mph speed limit on A5206 London Road, Lichfield. Documents may be examined during office hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, ST16 2DH, during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS13 6LG or via: https://consultation.appyway.com/lichfield Comments can be sent via the link above or in writing to: Traffic and Network Management, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, ST16 2DH no later than 29/8/25 quoting reference D0266D and stating the grounds on which they are made.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 5/8/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:

Burntwood Rd, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=144124309. The Order will come into operation on 13/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

A51 Tamworth Rd, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143761058. The Order will come into operation on 11/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Rugeley Rd, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144033552. The Order will come into operation on 22/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telegraph pole works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Church St, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144021386. The Order will come into operation on 13/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new service connection, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Coulter Ln, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143871235. The Order will come into operation on 26/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the ferrule repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Upper St John St, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143776199. The Order will come into operation on 26/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new service connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Curborough Rd, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144688601. The Order will come into operation on 26/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Christ Church Ln, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144167112. The Order will come into operation on 26/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
