What is happening?
The North Ayrshire Council (Milgarholm Roundabout, Irvine) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
The North Ayrshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order. Milgarholm Roundabout, Irvine, (including all approaches to Milgarholm Roundabout from Merryvale Roundabout, Annick Roundabout and Warrix Interchange) (both directions) will be closed from 8am on 11/08/25 to 6am on 18/08/25 for Carriageway Improvement works. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

North Ayrshire Council is planning the development of 188 new homes at Montgomerie Park, Irvine. The final plans for the site can be viewed online at: https://northayrshire.community/consultation/ until Sunday 31 August 2025.
