What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

MOWSLEY ROAD, THEDDINGWORTH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 05/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake boundary box installation works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Mill Hill, Laughton Rd, Theddingworth Rd & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 04/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake drainage works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Granville St, Northampton Rd, Nithsdale Ave & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

VARIOUS ROADS, CLAYBROOKE PARVA, CLAYBROOKE MAGNA,

THEDDINGWORTH & LAUGHTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 16/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 26 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days at each location to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake various highways maintenance works. The proposed diversion routes will be signed on site.

Main Rd, Claybrooke Parva from The Belfry Vicarage to the bus stop North of Western Dr. Woodway Ln, Claybrooke Magna from Main Rd Jct to Glebe Farm. Hothorpe Rd, Theddingworth; Main St, Gumley Rd, Laughton – for their entire lengths.

FROLESWORTH LANE, FROLESWORTH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 13/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake new water connection works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Frolesworth Rd, Main St & vice versa.

UPPER GREEN PLACE, GREAT BOWDEN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 11/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake pipe renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 11/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 26 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 9 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway repair works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

VARIOUS ROADS, HARBOROUGH DISTRICT

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 11/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 20 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC Smeeton Rd, Mowsley Rd, Saddington; Hungarton Ln, Keyham; Whatborough Rd, Tilton – for their entire lengths.
