ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (CROYDON) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A232 GLA ROAD (WICKHAM ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2025

  1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

  2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to:

    (1) relocate the No St Sam-7pm, 30 mins no return within 1 hour, Parking and disabled persons’ vehicles bay outside Nos. 143 and 145 Wickham Road to outside Nos. 137 to 141 Wickham Road, its length will be 15 metres.

    (2) The adjacent double red line restriction (No stopping at Any Time) on the north-east side of Wickham Road will be adjusted to accommodate the change and extended outside of No. 143 Wickham Road by 8 metres.

  3. The road which would be affected by the Order is the A232 GLA Road – Wickham Road in the London Borough of Croydon.

  4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and selecting the relevant borough and reference the Traffic Order relates to or by appointment during normal office hours at our office at the address below.   6. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ or by emailing trafficorderssection@tfl.gov.uk quoting reference NP SNO/REGULATION/STOT/JW/TRO/GLA/2025/0477 to arrive before 22nd August 2025. Please note due to Hybrid working access to post is restricted and requests for documents and confirmation of your objections or representations may be delayed. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
