Main Street, Market Bosworth - To Introduce A Loading Bay

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, THE BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY & BOSWORTH) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (MARKET PLACE AND MAIN STREET, MARKET BOSWORTH) (AMENDMENT 23) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be: 

To introduce a Loading Bay on Main Street, Market Bosworth
To introduce a Disabled Parking Bay on Market Place, Market Bosworth
To introduce a Limited Waiting Bay Mon - Sat 8am - 6pm. 2 hours 
No return within 1 hour on Market Place, Market Bosworth
The Order will come into force on the twelfth day of August 2025.

A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA.

The Order can also be viewed online at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/cars -and-parking/traffic-management-consultations from 12th August 2025.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
