What is happening?

PEDESTRIAN CROSSING CHANGES IN ST QUINTIN AVENUE
Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea proposes, under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to establish a ‘zebra’ pedestrian crossing in St Quintin Avenue with its centreline located approximately 7 metres west of the southwestern kerbline of Pangbourne Avenue
Associated zig-zag markings would be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing in accordance with the Zebra, Pelican and Puffin Pedestrian Crossing Regulations and Directions 1997 and these will indicate “at any time” restriction on waiting by vehicles, including waiting for the purposes of loading or unloading goods from a vehicle.

4. Anyone wishing to make any representations about the proposed pedestrian crossing changes should send a statement in writing by email to trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk or by post to Traffic Management Orders, Transport and Highways, 3rd Floor, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX quoting reference: St Quintin Avenue Pedestrian Crossing, by 27th August 2025.
5. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
