The City of Cambridge (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2022 (Amendment No. 45) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on 30th of July 2025
Cambridgeshire County Council made the above-named Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).
The effect of this Order is to: install double yellow lines on both sides of Riverside, from the entrance to Stourbridge Common to approx. 6.5m southwest of its junction with Stanley Rd; extend the existing single yellow line on the north-western side of Riverside, north-eastwards, to meet the new double yellow lines; and amend the hours of operation of the single yellow line restriction to 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on the 15th of August 2025, and a Statement of the Council’s Reason for having made the Order, may be inspected at the office of the undersigned during normal office hours and online, on the Council’s website, at the following address https://shorturl.at/cjnIO – see reference PR1004.
Any person desiring to question the validity of the above-named Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with may do so by application to the High Court within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made.
