M6 Motorway, Junction 14 - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Replacement Works
What is happening?

THE M6 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 14, STAFFORDSHIRE) (SLIP ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) intends to make an Order on the M6 Motorway, in the County of Staffordshire, to enable traffic sign replacement works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close the exit slip road leading from the northbound carriageway of the M6 at Junction 14.
The work will be carried overnight between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 1 September 2025 and continue for two nights.
The Order will come into force on 25 August 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance or traffic officer purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure.
A diversion route via the M6 Junction 15 will be signed.
