What is happening?

THE OLDHAM - GATEWAY CRESCENT CHADDERTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025
The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Gateway Crescent Chadderton from its junction with Broadgate (roundabout) for a distance of 70 metres in a north easterly direction.
The alternative route will be via Broadgate.
The Order is to be made to allow cable excavations in the carriageway and will be in force for 1 week from 13th August 2025, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
