(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of Sawmill Bridge (from Levenmouth Waste Water Treatment Access Road to Creosote Access Road).
The Order is to allow bridge resurfacing works and footpath construction works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 18/08/25 to 31/07/26 or until earlier completion of the works.
The alternative route for through traffic will be via A955, Riverside Rd (B933) and Leven Vale. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained. There is no access for pedestrians during the duration of the works.
