Ladybarn Road - Temporary Suspension of Parking Restriction
What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000144812954: The City of Manchester (Ladybarn Road, Fallowfield Ward) (Temporary Suspension of Parking Restriction) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to suspend the operation of the designated parking place on Ladybarn Road. The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate capital scheme works. It is expected that the work will be in progress between the 20th August 2025 and the 27th August 2025. The Order shall come into operation on the 20th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 6th August 2025.
ORDER NO. MCC144676587: The City of Manchester (Sandhurst Road, Didsbury East Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Sandhurst Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Wilmslow Road, Didsbury Park, Sandhurst Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate underground fibre optic infrastructure repairs. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 18th August 2025 to the 20th August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00. The order shall come into operation on the 18th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
