Swan Walk & Dilke Street - Temporary Road Closures For Crane Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES SWAN WALK & DILKE STREET
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Swan Walk, to be closed from Chelsea Embankment to Royal Hospital Road, and Dilke Street to be closed from the junction of Clover Mews to the junction of Swan Walk.
To be closed from 06.00hrs until 18.00hrs on Monday 11th August 2025.
Diverted through traffic may use Chelsea Embankment Tite Street, Dilke Street, in Both directions, and Dilke Street, Tite Street, Royal Hospital Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
