Viking Road, Stamford Bridge - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ON STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT) (CONSOLIDATION)
(AMENDMENT NO 85) (VIKING ROAD,
STAMFORD BRIDGE) ORDER 2025
1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make
a Road Traffic Regulation Order to amend The East
Riding of Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking Places)
(Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2021,
the effect of which will be to extend the existing
no waiting at any time restrictions on Viking Road,
Stamford Bridge.
2. The proposed changes are shown on Plan Tile
Reference BR38A which is attached to the
proposed Order. An annotated illustrative drawing
is also available for inspection with reference
TMN2529/1200/01 which shows for ease of
reference the proposed amendments. If the
Order becomes operative Plan Tile References
BR38A will be incorporated into The East Riding of
Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking Places) (Civil
Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2021 to replace
the existing Plan Tile Reference BR38.
3. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan, and a
statement of the council’s reasons for proposing
to make the Order are available for inspection
at Pocklington Pocela Centre, 23 Railway Street,
Pocklington, YO42 2QU. A copy of the street notice
and relevant plan have been placed on the council’s
website (East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic
Management and Road Safety). Any enquiries relating

4. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the
grounds for objection, should be emailed to
traffic.consultation@eastriding.gov.uk
or sent in
writing to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic
& Parking Services, Streetscene Services, Beverley
Depot, Annie Reed, Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF by
27 August 2025.
