Montpelier Rise, Brent - Temporary Road and Footway Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

MONTPELIER RISE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a pole replacement and associated works in Montpelier Rise, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit: -

(a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Montpelier Rise, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 74 and 76 Montpelier Rise and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Rise;

(b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the western footway of Montpelier Rise, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 74 and 76 Montpelier Rise and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Rise; when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above will apply on 8th August 2025 only.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Montpelier Rise will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
