Mollinsburn Road, Annathill - Temporary Road Closure on Footway Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL
MOLLINSBURN ROAD, ANNATHILL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
On 28 July 2025 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on footway resurfacing works) on Mollinsburn Road, Annathil from Rosebarr to Maryslea by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: via Mollinsburn Road, Airdrie Road, Cumbernauld Road, Cumbernauld Road A80, Mollins Road A80, Cumbernauld Road A80, Avenuehead Road, Drumcavel Road, Birkenshaw Road and Mollinsburn Road
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure, including local access to Annathill Gardens, Bedlay Place and Colliery Place.
The Order, will come into operation at 0800 hours on Friday, 15 August 2025 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Thursday, 21 August 2025.
