What is happening?

Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

Notice is hereby given that Herefordshire Council made the PUBLIC FOOTPATH WA50, WALFORD (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

temporarily closing the said footpath from OS Grid Reference SO 6031 2103 to SO 5980 2078. The closure is required due to an unsafe retaining wall. The alternative route is via public footpaths WA55A and WA51, public bridleway WA53 and public footpath WA48. Queries may be directed to prow@herefordshire.gov.uk. A copy of the order and plan may be seen at www.herefordshire.gov.uk. The Order came into operation on 28 July 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months (unless extended by the Secretary of State) or until any said works have been completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council.
