ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (LEIGHTON BUZZARD BYPASS, LEIGHTON BUZZARD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Leighton Buzzard Bypass, Leighton Buzzard from B440 roundabout to Stanbridge Road roundabout.
This temporary closure is required to enable surface dressing and road marking work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 9 to 29 August 2025 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A505, A5, A4012, A4146.
The Order will come into operation on 9 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (DERWENT ROAD, LINSLADE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Derwent Road, Linslade outside Greenleas School.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 15 August 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Himley Green, Southcourt Avenue, Springfield Road, Soulbury Road and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (MENTMORE ROAD, LINSLADE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Mentmore Road, Linslade from the junction with Wing Road to the substation opposite Linslade Middle School and outside Cedars Upper School. This temporary closure is required to enable surface dressing and road marking work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 29 August 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm and Saturdays between 8am and 1pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route for this closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the entire lengths of Richmond Road and Highcroft, Leighton Buzzard.
This temporary closure is required to enable pre patching and micro asphalt surfacing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 26 August 205. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the entire lengths of Willow Bank Walk, Almond Road and Gemini Close, Leighton Buzzard and Dove Tree Road, Leighton Buzzard at the junction with Almond Road.
This temporary closure is required to enable pre patching and micro asphalt surfacing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 13 to 29 August 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (ORCHARD WAY, STANBRIDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Orchard Way, Stanbridge opposite number 17.
This temporary closure is required to enable gas service installation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 26 to 27 August 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Peddars Lane, Tilsworth Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 26 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO INTRODUCE WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON CEDARS WAY,
FINCH CRESCENT AND WING ROAD, LINSLADE Reason for proposal: For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising and for facilitating the passage of traffic on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians). More specifically, the waiting restrictions are intended to address indiscriminate parking and to ensure that junctions are not obstructed by parked vehicles.
Effect of the Order:
To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Linslade:-
1. Cedars Way, north-east side, from a point in line with the northwestern property boundary of No.7 Cedars Way, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 43 metres, to a point in line with the south-eastern flank wall of No.4 Ledburn Grove.
2. Cedars Way, south-west side, from the junction with Finch Crescent, extending in a north-westerly direction for approximately 15 metres, to a point in line with the north-western property boundary of No.7 Cedars Way.
3. Finch Crescent, both sides, from the junction with Cedars Way, extending in a south-westerly direction for approximately 10 metres.
4. Cedars Way, south-west side, from the junction with Finch Crescent, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 12 metres.
5. Cedars Way, south-west side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a north-westerly direction, following the curvature of the kerb into Wing Road for approximately 20 metres.
6. Cedars Way, north-east side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a north-easterly direction, following the curvature of the kerb into Wing Road for approximately 19 metres (up to the existing No Waiting at any time restrictions).
To introduce No Waiting from Monday to Friday between 8:00am – 4:30pm on the following length of road in Linslade:-
1. Cedars Way, north-east side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 19 metres.
2. Cedars Way, south-west side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.21 Cedars Way, extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 16 metres (up to the existing No Waiting at any time restrictions).
