Ocle Pychard, Temporary Road Closure Due To Duct Laying Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, Intend, under Its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1131, Ocle Pychard, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1131, Ocle Pychard, near to Holme Copse House and The Sticks. Grid Ref: 359004/246494.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A465 onto the A417 onto the C1131 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to duct laying works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
