What is happening?

(PEDESTRIAN & CYCLE ZONES) (CONSOLIDATION)
TRAFFIC ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (hereinafter referred to as the "the Council") propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the above Order would be to: -
(a) combine into a single Traffic Order all of the existing school street pedestrian and cycle zones within the London Borough of Brent; and
(b) consolidate and apply an exemption for Goods Vehicles registered with the Council to enter a prescribed street to load and unload; and
(c) further ensure that residents living in a prescribed street need to obtain a virtual permit to gain access to a prescribed street during the prescribed hours.
3. A copy of the proposed Order, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the scheme can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

5. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order should send a statement of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Neighbourhoods and Regeneration, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/140/JH, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
