ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C34 MAIN STREET/FRANKTON ROAD & D2261_ BACK LANE, BIRDINGBURY
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Main Street/Frankton Road closed between Master’s Yard and entrance to Old Court and Back Lane closed from Main Street to Old Rickyard.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.00hrs weekdays only, excluding Bank Holiday.
Order Commences: 18 August 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 August 2025.
Access & Diversion: C34 Main Street/Frankton Road Diversion: Marton Road, Birdingbury Road, A423, B4453 Rugby Road/Princethorpe Road, Main Street, Burton Lane, Birdingbury Lane, Frankton Lane and vice versa. Back Lane Access/egress via Leamington Hastings Road only.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
