Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 — A38 City Walls Road southbound from its junction with U53030 Lowesmoor to its junction with A38 St Martins Gate Roundabout. Closure 2 — A38 City Walls Road northbound from junction with A44 College St to its junction with A38 St Martins Gate Roundabout. Closure 3 — B4205 St Martins Gate northbound approach to the roundabout. The Worcestershire County Council (Sansome Street and Lowesmoor St/Nicholas Street, Worcester) (Bus Lane) Consolidation Order 2021 is temporarily suspended to enable traffic to follow diversion on Lowesmoor for the duration of the closures.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

Wychavon Hills District (Civil Enforcement Area) Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025

Prohibition of Waiting on Bransford Road/Garage Lane, Worcester

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 17 July 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Rushwick:

• Bransford Road – South side: from its junction with Garage Lane to a point 20m in a westerly direction and 20m in an easterly direction

• Garage Lane – West side: from its junction with Bransford Road for a distance of 13.5m in a southerly direction

• Garage Lane – East side: from its junction with Bransford Road for a distance of 13.5m in a southerly direction

The Order also revokes all waiting prohibitions on the above-mentioned lengths of roads, and re-enacts them to continue in effect. The Order provides that there is an exemption from the prohibitions and restriction for certain purposes and persons. These include picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, delivery vehicles and disabled persons’ vehicles displaying a valid blue badge.

The Order will come into operation on 7 August 2025.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained within it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may apply to the High Court within six weeks of the date of the Order.

(Footpaths SE-518 and SE-519, Spetchley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 25 February 2025 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpaths SE-518 and SE-519 for 18 months beginning on 25 February 2025 and which was due to expire on 4 August 2025 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Environment Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 25 February 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to an unsafe footbridge over the railway.

Alternative route: (Clockwise) A44 Evesham Road, Footpath WL-503 in White Ladies Aston parish, Footpaths SE-521, SE-522, Brideway SE-515 in Spetchley parish and vice versa.

(Footpath BH-550, Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close Footpath BH-550, Broadheath for its entire length.

The Order has been made due to a housing development.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: BH-569, BH-568, B4204 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it relates have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 16 July 2025.

(Footpaths RW-514, RW-515 and RW-516, Rushwick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 20 July 2023 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpaths RW-514, RW-515 and RW-516, Rushwick for safety reasons while associated construction works take place and which was due to expire on 31 January 2025 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Environment Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 31 July 2027 whichever is the earlier. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made to allow construction associated with a new housing development to be carried out.
