What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (LEAPOOL ROUNDABOUT AND MANSFIELD ROAD, REDHILL) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND CLEARWAYS) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (7286)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Redhill in the borough of Gedling: -
1. Proposed Prohibition of Waiting and Loading from Mon-Sat 7.30am - 9.30am and 4.30pm - 6.30pm along the following lengths of road:
MANSFIELD ROAD, REDHILL (the east side) - From a point 28 metres south of its junction with Roscoe Avenue in a northerly direction to a point 54 metres northeast of its junction with Adams Drive.
MANSFIELD ROAD, REDHILL (the west side) - From its junction with Larkspur Avenue in a northerly direction to a point opposite a point 54 metres north-east of its junction with Adams Drive.
Proposed 24 Hour Rural Clearway - Prohibition of Stopping on the Main Carriageway along the following lengths of road:-
OLLERTON ROAD, REDHILL - Between its junction with Leapool Roundabout and a point 391 metres north of that roundabout.
LEAPOOL ROUNDABOUT, REDHILL - For its full extent.
MANSFIELD ROAD, REDHILL - Between its junction with Leapool Roundabout and a point 54 metres north-east of its junction with Adams Drive.
Proposed Bus Stop Clearway (No Stopping at any time except buses) along the following lengths of road:-
MANSFIELD ROAD, REDHILL (the east side) - From a point 110 metres south of its junction with Leapool Roundabout in a southerly direction for 15 metres.
MANSFIELD ROAD, REDHILL (the west side) - From a point 130 metres south of its junction with Leapool Roundabout in a southerly direction for 15 metres.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 29th August 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council's procedures at the appropriate time. Any details you provide may be shared with Nottinghamshire County Council as appropriate.
