(U10511 Sandy Bank, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U10511 Sandy Bank from its junction with B4190 Welch Gate to its junction with U10513 Forest Cl.
Reason: Street lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems.
No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, U10512 Merricks Ln, U10511 Wyre Hill, U10511 Sandy Bank (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 5 August 2025.
(U15202 Villiers Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) and the Wyre Forest District Council (Villiers Street, Kidderminster) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1981 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U15202 Villiers Street from its junction with U12501 Lorne St to its junction with A449 Chester Rd North and to temporarily suspend the Wyre Forest District Council (Villiers Street, Kidderminster) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1981 to allow two-way traffic to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent.
Alternative route: A449 Chester Rd North, A448 Comberton Rd, U12501 Lorne St.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 23 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 August 2025.
(C2193 Gorst Hill, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2193 Gorst Hill from its junction with U10006 Dark Ln to its junction Walnut Grove (NSG Ref 45703035).
Reason: Utility work by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2193 Gorst Hill (part), C2193 Pound Ln, A456 Tenbury Rd, C2132 Rectory Ln, C2189 Porchbrook Rd, C2189 Quarry Rd, C2189 Boraston Rd, C2193 Gorst Hill (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 4 August 2025.
(C2184 Harvington Hall Lane, Harvington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2184 Harvington Hall Ln from its junction with A448 Bromsgrove Rd for a distance of 130 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Water works by STW.
Alternative route: A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A450 Worcester Rd, C2184 Harvington Hall Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 22 August 2025.
(U40000 Summerway Lane, Torton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U40000 Summerway Ln from its junction with C2140 Charton Ln for a distance of 205 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Installation of fibre broadband by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2140 Charton Ln, U11319 Leapgate, U11318 Wilden Top Rd, U40000 Summerway Ln and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 August 2025.
(U10213 Yew Tree Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order Made: To close that section of U10213 Yew Tree Ln from its junction with B4190 Cleobury Rd to its junction with U10215 The Lakes Rd.
Reason: Tree maintenance by Guy Williams.
Alternative route: B4190 Cleobury Rd, U10215 The Lakes Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 August 2025.
(U13248 The Crescent, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U13248 The Crescent from its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Rd for a distance of 80 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Due to carriageway construction by Montel Civil Engineering/Vistry.
No access for emergency services, the diversion route must be maintained.
Alternative route: U13248 The Crescent (part) Lea Castle Dr (NSG ref. 45703212), B4189 Park Gate Rd, A449 Wolverhampton Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 77 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 August 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Stoney Lane/Stourvale Drive, Kidderminster and Worcestershire County Council (Stoney Lane, Kidderminster) No Stopping on School Entrance Markings) Order 2025
On 17 July 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:
Stoney Lane, Kidderminster (south side) – from its junction with the mini roundabout at the Stourvale Drive junction for a distance of 13.9m in a westerly direction and 23.2m in an easterly direction;
Stoney Lane, Kidderminster (north side) – from its junction with the mini roundabout at the Stourvale Drive junction for a distance of 9.5m in a westerly direction;
Stourvale Drive, Kidderminster (east side) – from its junction with the mini roundabout at the Stourvale Drive junction for a distance of 15.7m in a southerly direction;
Stourvale Drive, Kidderminster (west side) – from its junction with the mini roundabout at the Stourvale Drive junction for a distance of 37m in a northerly direction;
Stourvale Drive, Kidderminster (east side) – from its junction with the mini roundabout at the Stourvale Drive junction for a distance of 27.7m in a northerly direction.
The effect of the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/ loading/unloading purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
Worcestershire County Council also made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on School Entrance Markings on the following lengths and sides of road in Kidderminster:
Stoney Lane, Kidderminster (north side) – from a point 78.5m east of its junction with the mini roundabout at the Stourvale Drive junction for a distance of 31.2m in an easterly direction.
The Orders were made on 31 August 2025.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(A449 Wolverhampton Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2025
Order made: To impose a 40 MPH speed limit on that part of A449 Wolverhampton Road from a point 80 metres south of its junction with U13213 Axborough Ln for a distance of 102.0 metres in a northerly direction in both directions.
Reason: Site works being carried out by Montel Civil Engineering on behalf of Vistry.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles only.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 77 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 August 2025.
