Berw Road Bridge, Pontypridd - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Inspection Works

DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar yr mwyaf.
Mae angen cau’r ffyrdd er mwyn cynnal gwaith archwilio ar Bont Heol Berw (Y Bont Wen)

O ochr ddeheuol y cau, ewch ymlaen trwy Y Rhodfa, Stryd y Gorllewin, Cylchfan Stryd y Bont, Stryd y Bont a Heol Berw i ochr ogleddol y cau O ochr ogleddol y cau, eqch ymlaen trwy Berw Road, Stryd Y Bont, Stryd y Gorllewin, Stryd y Ganol, Heol Tresimwn a Y Rhodfa I ochr ddeheol y cau
FYDD DIM mynediad yn cael ei gynnal i gerddwyr, cherbydau'r gwasanaethau brys neu eiddo. Mae disgwyl i'r ffyrdd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau: –

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (BERW ROAD BRIDGE, PONTYPRIDD) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate inspection works on Berw Road Bridge (White Bridge) Temporary Road Closures:
The effect of the Order will be to close the following lengths of road: -
• Berw Road Bridge – entire length
Alternative Routes:
From the southern side of the closure, proceed via The Parade, West Street, Bridge Street Roundabout, Bridge Street and Berw Road to the northern side of the closure. From the northern side of the closure, proceed via Berw Road, Bridge Street, West Street, Middle Street, Bonvilston Road and The Parade to the southern side of the closure.
Access WILL NOT be maintained for pedestrians, emergency services or to premises.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Full closure between 18th August – 29th August 2025
