What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U95616 Menith Wood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U95616 Menith Wood from its junction with U95615 Menith Wood to its junction with A443 Stockton.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: U95616 Menith Wood (part), A443 Stockton, C2024 Stockton, C2024 Pensax, C2024 Pensax Rd, B4202 Worcester Rd, C2192 Menith Wood, C2192 Menith Wood to Malvern Hills Boundary, U95616 Menith Wood (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 6 August 2025.

(BR7775 Kyre Footbridge only adjacent to B4204 Kyrewood Road, Tenbury Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of BR7775 Footbridge only adjacent to B4204 Kyrewood Rd, for its entire length.

Reason: Footbridge repairs by WCC.

Pedestrians to use the alternative route for the duration of the work.

Alternative route: Public Rights of Way Footpath 33 (along the Council offices), Footway past Tenbury Swimming Pool/Tenbury Town Council, B4204 Kyrewood Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 26 August 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
