A57 Worksop Road - Temporary Prohibition of Driving For New Connections And Associated Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(A57 WORKSOP ROAD, WORKSOP)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025 (BS25-252)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Worksop in the Borough or District of Bassetlaw
The effects of the Order will be:
1. No person shall allow a vehicle to cross the central reservation from the westbound to eastbound carriageway or from the eastbound to westbound carriageway at the following locations on the A57 Worksop Road, Worksop:
a. A57 Worksop Road, Worksop - From a point 220m Southeast of its junction with the B6040 Eastwards for 960m
1. No person shall cause any vehicle to turn left from the following length of road at Worksop in the District of Bassetlaw:
a. A57 Worksop Road, Worksop Eastbound into Roebuck Way
1. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
2. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:30 Monday 18th August 2025
Until 17:30 Friday 5th September 2025 inclusive.
The Order will come into force on Monday 18th August 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Avove on behalf of Seven Trent Water to carry out works to make new Connections and associated works
