HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 11eg Awst 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar rhwng 11eg Awst 2025 a’r 13eg Awst 2025. 

2.  Roedd angen y Gorchymyn  er mwyn i Dŵr Cymru wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.   Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o’r B4233 The White Swan i Bont Trothi, Llanfable, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â’r R32 Crossways Farm i Heol Llanfable am ~95m.  

4. Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: B4233, A40, B4293 Stryd Cinderhill, B4233 Stryd Drybridge, B4233 Heol Rockfield ac i'r gwrthwyneb.  

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro B4233 The White Swan i Bont Trothi, Llanfable, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

(B4233 THE WHITE SWAN TO TROTHY BRIDGE, LLANFAPLEY, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 11th August 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 11th August 2025 and 13th August 2025.  

2.The order was necessary for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.

3.  The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of B4233 The White Swan to Trothy Bridge, Llanfapley, Monmouthshire, from its junction with R32 Crossways Farm to Llanvapley road for ~95m.  

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- B4233, A40, B4293 Cinderhill Street, B4233 Drybridge Street, B4233 Rockfield Road and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the B4233 The White Swan to Trothy Bridge, Llanfapley, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
