What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
The Gables, Longfield, DA3 7EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Gables, Longfield, on or after 26th August 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 9.
There is no alternative route but access will be given as and when safe to do so.
Wood Lane, Darenth, DA2 7JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new gas service connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wood Lane, Darenth, on or after 11th August 2025 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 31.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
