What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN
FOOTPATHS 176, 112 (PART), 109 & 110 BLACKBURN TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the I footpaths referred to in the Schedule below to facilitate improvement works to the Public Rights of Way. The Order becomes effective on 7th August 2025 for a period of six months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Any queries concerning the closure should be made by emailing The Public Rights of Way Team at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council on public.rightofway@blackburn.gov.uk.
