(SILVERKNOWES ROAD AREA, EDINBURGH) (NO. 1)

EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 –

ETRO/21/30C

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, to introduce by way of an experiment: (1) at any time waiting restrictions on: (i) Marine Dr; (ii) Silverknowes Ct; (iii) Silverknowes Cres; (iv) Silverknowes Dr; (v) Silverknowes Hill; (vi) Silverknowes Parkway; (vii) Silverknowes Pl; (viii) Silverknowes Rd; and (ix) Silverknowes Rd East; and (2) at any time prohibition of motor vehicles (with exemptions) on Silverknowes Road (service road, south of Silverknowes Cres, southern junction). Details of the Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed online at consultation.appyway. com/edinburgh-city from 11/08/25 to 10/02/26 by following the link to “Proposals in consultation” under reference ETRO/21/30C or online at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/

trafficorders or at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk. Documents can also be viewed at Waverley Court Reception, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG between 9:30 & 15:30 MonFri during the same period. The Order will come into effect on 11/08/25. The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Any person may object to the making of the Order for the purpose of such indefinite continuation. Objectors must complete the form found via the “Proposals in consultation” link referred to above, or state their reasons in writing quoting reference ETRO/21/30C to Traffic Orders at the above address, not later than 10/02/26. Objections should state the name and address of the objector. If you are responding to this consultation and your comments or objection relate to any particular location/s or element/s of the proposals, it would be helpful if you could identify those in your response. Should this order be varied by another experimental order or otherwise modified, there will be a further period of six months during which objections will be invited, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force. TRO/21/30B as advertised on 07/06/24 and which came into operation on 17/06/24 is hereby revoked.
