The Street & Hayley Lane, Long Sutton, Hart - Temporary Road Closures due to renewal of stopcock in verge
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: that part of The Street & Hayley Lane between its junction with Copse Lane and a point approximately 460 Metres North-West of its junction with Wood Hill Lane. A : White Hill, Long Lane, Cemetery Hill, King Street, High Street, B3349
DURATION OF ORDER: from 18th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:00 - 16:00).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for South East Water to carry out works to renew stopcock in verge. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Highways@southeastwater.co.uk South East Water will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
