HYSBYSIAD RHEOLEIDDIO TRAFFIG DROS DRO 2025  

HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 7fed Awst 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 7fed Awst 2025 a’r 9fed Awst 2025, gan weithio rhwng 09:30 – 15:30.   

2. Roedd angen y Gorchymyn  er mwyn i BT wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.   Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Tre-Fedw, Cwm-iou, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â Heol Groes Lwyd am ~320m  

4. Nid oedd llwybr dargyfeirio wedi'i arwyddo oherwydd nad yw'r ffordd yn llwybr drwodd.  

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Tre-Fedw, Cwm-iou, Sir Fynwy 2025.

6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(TRE-FEDW ROAD, CWMYOY, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 7th August 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 7th of August 2025, operating between 09:30 – 15:30.  

2. The order was necessary for BT works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Tre-Fedw Road, Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire , from its junction with Groes Lwyd Road for ~320m.  

4. There is no signed diversion route due to the road being a no-through route.  

5. This order may be cited as the Tre-Fedw Road, Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
