NOTICE OF THE MAKING OF A MODIFICATION ORDER
SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION NO. 7 ORDER 2025
The above Order, made on 15th July 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them the footpath from the Air Traffic Control Tower, Oglet Lane, Speke, Liverpool L24 5RJ to Mersey Way (Garston Shore) as described in the Schedule to this notice.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the City Solicitors Office, Fifth Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH between the hours of 8.45 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
Copies of the order and the order map may also be purchased there at the price of £10.00.
Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Head of Law (Planning and Regulatory), Legal Services, Liverpool City Council , Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH not later than 25th September 2025 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, Liverpool City Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

A footpath commencing at Oglet Lane adjacent to the Air Traffic Control Tower, at sj 343629, 381846 and extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 280 metres with an average width of 3.5 metres to sj 343349, 381862, then in a north westerly direction for a distance of 421 metres with a width of 2 metres to sj 342935, 381965 then extending in a south westerly direction for a distance of 339 metres with a width of 2 metres and terminating at Garston Shore at sj 342737, 381724
