High Street, Dalbeattie - Temporary Closure to Facilitate the Dalbeattie Civic Day Parade

What is happening?

(DALBEATTIE CIVIC DAY PARADE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the following roads on 9/8/25: 12:00 to 13:45 Port Street, full length. 13:00 to 13:45 parade route - High Street from Port St to John St, John Street from High St to Daniel Car Park. The closure is necessary to facilitate the Dalbeattie Civic Day Parade. Alt route: John St, Barhill Rd, Southwick Rd, William St, Union St, Copeland St, Blair St, High St, A710 and vice versa. Minor delays should be expected for the duration of the event. Emergency vehicle access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The applications, associated plans and documents can be viewed online by following the ePlanning link on the Council’s website at www.dumgal.gov.uk/planning. Written comments may be made to Head of Economy and Development by email to Planning@dumgal.gov.uk or via the Council’s website, as noted above, by 21/08/2025 (Type B).
